The sixth generation of the BMW 5 Series consists of executive cars: BMW F10 (sedan version), BMW F11 (Wagon version, marketed as Touring), and BMW F07 (fastback version, marketed as Gran Turismo)
The BMW 5 Series (F18) is a car produced by the German automobile manufacturer BMW. F10 sedan, F11 touring, and F07 Gran Turismo are the chassis codes.
It was first introduced as the 2010 model on November 23, 2009.
The BMW 5 Series F10 was designed by Jacek Fröhlich between November 2005 and December 2006.
The 5 Series has maintained the lines of its predecessors in this design. The front grille has become larger and more pronounced, and traditional BMW lines that were abandoned in the previous series have been approached again.
Although it bears some similarities to its predecessor E60, it is more reminiscent of the E39 and other previous 5 series.
The driver-oriented console, which is typical in traditional BMWs, has returned in this model. The F10, described as a much more mild and conservative design compared to its predecessor, shows significant differences from the previous model E60.
It is more similar to the BMW 3 Series (E90).
The BMW F18 is sold in Turkey with 3 different equipment packages: Luxury Line, Modern Line, and Sport Line (M Package). Additionally, cars can be equipped with different features according to the user's request from BMW's website.
In addition, the Gran Turismo model has been defined as a 5-Door coupe.
